About Hanna
(Pronouns: she/her)
I am currently the volunteer coordinator for Community Schools, an initiative within the Mayor’s Office of Education. Prior to joining the City of Philadelphia, I served as a communications manager for City Year’s national marketing & communications team. I am also an alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I studied history and political science.
In 2023, I founded Asian Food Collective, a volunteer-led community group that builds community through food. We meet weekly to cook meals together and donate meals that feel like home to South Philly Community Fridge.
My experience in MarComm and community engagement has shaped me into a storyteller with an impact. I find it exciting to be able to connect with people on a large scale, which is why I love working with small businesses and nonprofits in growing their online presence.
