City Year

City Year is an education nonprofit that provides holistic support for students in 29 U.S. cities. I provided thoughtful storytelling to highlight the organization’s impact through blog and newsletter writing, drafting social media campaign ideas, and providing storytelling support for partners.

Blog Writing

I wrote and edited over 20 articles for the national blog. The blog had a 359% increase of year-over-year viewership.

Email Newsletters

I use Adobe Marketo to create monthly newsletters to send to a listserv of 30,000 subscribers, which include alums, current staff and corps members, corporate partners, and supporters.

I also send weekly internal newsletters to all staff with media hits.
